Although I specialise in Wedding and Portrait photography, when I get the opportunity to combine another great passion of mine – horses – with photography, I jump at it.
So let me show you what we got up to with “The Black Mare” – she is called Dikota, is 3 years old and is simply stunning.
This is third session with Jennifer and she is over a year old now. And if you have seen the other sessions I shot with her you will see how much she has changed.
Part of the planning that goes into a baby session is to allow them enough time to relax and enjoy the interaction. Jennifer was fantastic and her personality is really starting to shine through. At one stage I suggested we put on some music for her to dance too and she loved that – even going over to the stereo to adjust the volume!!

Caught with the make up!
Last week I met up with Fiona and Mark for their pre wedding meeting and shoot. We headed out to Troon Harbour for a few photographs and then made the most of a blustery autumn evening on the beach.

I photographed Ruth and Gavin’s wedding a couple of years ago so it was just so lovely when their family contacted me to arrange to put together a gift for them of photographs of their adorable baby – Jennifer. This is the first of 3 sessions we do in the first year as part of a baby portrait session which has always proved a popular gift as the family can then have beautiful photographs capturing all the changes that happen in the first year.
Jennifer was just fantastic – she would put some pro models to shame! Photographing babies is so special - her translucent skin that was so pale and delicate, her big blue eyes that were so engaging to her cherub like lips perfectly formed.
