One of the aspects I love about this job is getting to know really great people from all over the UK and the world. Karen and Matt are planning their wedding at Glenapp Castle – one of my favourite venues for so many reasons - and managed to plan a trip to Scotland from their home in Cheshire to organise and confirm some of the details for their wedding in April.
We met over coffee (great coffee and a great view over the harbour) and discussed all the details of their day. We even sent Matt off for a walk so the girls could talk dress and shoes – needless to say I cannot wait to see Karen in her dress!!.
We then headed out to take some pre wedding photographs, which is about helping the couple relax and realise how much fun the photography aspect can be. One of the most common “concerns” I hear from couples is that they hate having their photographs taken or that they are not photogenic. A big aspect of my job is to help allay any fears and show the couple how much fun it can be and therefore how good they will look because they are relaxed and having fun.
So here is a small selection from Karen and Matt’s pre wedding shoot. Looking forward to their wedding.
