This week I was asked by a friend if I would mind popping along to photograph her daughter at the Summer Finale being held at Rowallan. And because I had a rare Saturday off from weddings I readily agreed. Their amazing pony is up for sale as his rider has outgrown him sadly – he is a genuine gentleman of a pony (12hh) who would be perfect for a young rider who is ready to come off the lead rein and compete him and have lots of fun.

And like any professional photographer, when I have my camera I have an almost compulsion to photograph what is happening around me. I hope you like them and if you were competing and would like to see more images there is a gallery on my client page on my website for BSPS (password is Pony). Here is a small selection from the day.

Marion, these photos are fantastic. Love the one of Lara and Smudge standing and think you must be the first photographer to catch him with his ears forward. Well done on great pics.

We are desperate for some extra grazing so that we can take on a large number of dumped colt foals.
