Fiona & Mark were recently married at The Lynnhurst Hotel in Johnstone, opting for a personal, funny and moving humanist ceremony. The Lynnhurst has recently been refurbished to a very high standard blending the period character with the best of modern features. The bridal suite, where the girls got ready, is just stunning. From the four poster bed, the opulent wallpaper and furnishings to the amazing en-suite (with the largest rain shower head ever) it makes a for a very special setting.
Fiona had chosen a fabulous Benjamin Roberts dress which had a tulle train and beading detail at the top of the bodice and on the hip. There were lots of personal touches including a hipflask Fiona had engraved to gift to Mark that morning.
Leslie, the Humanist, had taken the time to get to know them both and had asked them to each prepare their own vows, keeping the exact details to themselves until the ceremony .
After the meal, Bahookie kept everyone on their feet with their seamless mix of ceilidh and rock music. I have heard them now at several weddings and they are very talented and good fun.
